The load-bearing walls and piers are made from cement stabilised compressed earth blocks with key piers strengthened to resist earthquake loading by the provision of reinforced concrete cores.
The roof trusses are fabricated from locally sourced Eucalyptus.
MHA provided its services on a pro bono basis for this most worthy of projects that now provides transformational opportunities for the community of Patongo.
